Schmid Construction completed work on Kroger in Wilmington Island, GA this past week. This project included a 41,506sf renovation of an existing grocery store as well as a 36,805sf addition; totaling 78,311sf in all The renovated store features new décor, upscale elements in the service departments, an expanded grocery department, a Murray’s Cheese shop, upgraded Starbucks, expanded bakery and deli, wine tasting center, expanded meat and seafood service, a sushi island and an expanded natural foods department.
